Making a Difference is not a Matter of Birth but Choice
.“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” (Est4:16)
Millions of Jews were saved from total annihilation because of the choice of Esther.
And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.” (Neh2:5)
The city of Jerusalem and the Jewish people had been in such painful state for years until one man made a choice to do something about it. In a record 52 days everything was different!
Each one of us, including you personally reading this message, was created and gifted by God in so many ways and there fore has potential to make a difference wherever God has deployed. Your smile can make a difference, your care can make a difference, the knowledge you have can make a difference, the position you hold can make a difference, the strength you have can make a difference, the connections you have can make a difference, your prayer can make a difference, just a tap on the shoulder can make a difference, the way you treat your employees can make a difference, an appreciation can make a difference, your character can make a difference, etc..
We have everything it takes to make a difference but nothing will become different until a choice is made by you!
Jesus said” You are the light of the world…” But again He said , ” let your light so shine before men…” (Mtt5:13-16)! In other words, you are the light of the world , you have the potential to eliminate darkness in your workspace, but darkness will continue to reign until you ,”let your light to shine”. You may be the light and refuse to switch on your light! The choice is yours!!
All christian professionals have what it takes to make a difference wherever we work, but things have remained the way they are because the choice is not made …..
If the choice is made today, the difference will manifest tomorrow!!
