4. Skill
Therefore send me at once a man skillful to work in gold and silver, in bronze and iron, in purple and crimson and blue, who has skill to engrave with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided (2Chro2:7).
The word skill have the following meanings;
1. The ability to do something that comes from training, experience or practice.
2. A learned power of doing something competently.
3. The ability to use ones knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance.
Christian professionals and Business people have skills that come from the knowledge acquired from school, training, experiences and practice, and these are already in our possession! We have skills in various fields of our education and work fields.
With these skills we are already equipped to make a difference. Beloved this message is just an eye opener to let you see what you already have to make a difference where God has positioned you.
Solomon built a great kingdom and caused Israel to prosper using exported skilled men from other countries and skilled men David had raised up.
As i always say, ” we have all it takes to make the difference in our world, in our families, in our nations and in Africa”!
Stop looking to the west or east seeking for help… God has already endowed us with all amazing treasures and we just need to wake up and use them effectively and passionately and everything around us will become different!
All you need to do is to do what you are doing skillfully (Ps78:72).
