3. Access

1.Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house.

2.So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.

3.And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!” ( Est5:1-3)!

Esther as the queen in the palace had the ACCESS to the king which no other Jew or citizen had. When her people (Jews) were weeping and mourning for the danger they were facing because of Haman, Esther used the opportunity she had, (free access to the king), to bring deliverance to the Jews.

Your profession, education , position, job, business etc gives you access to very important persons , resources which can change the livelihood of countless lives out there who are languishing in pain and poverty.

Esther had connection to her people through Mordecai and she knew their pain and she had access to the king who had the power to reverse the evil Haman had intended. In fact, Esther had access to the almighty God also….she prayed and fasted for 3 days.

Beloved through your work, you have strategic access to very important persons and access to the almighty God…. Lets take advantage of these accesses and bring deliverance to our people.

Amen
