“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn (Zech12:10)!
True effective, fruitful, powerful and life changing prayer is born of the Spirit of God. This prophesy says that God was going to pour out the Spirit of grace and supplication upon the house of David. This means that the Holy Spirit is the one who gives birth to supplication/ prayer/ intercession in our lives.
We are new creation in Christ (2Cor5:17) and we are spiritually regenerated (Eph2:1) and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit in our spirit- man (Eph3:16-17) until we become strong in the Lord (Jesus Christ) and the power of His might (the mightiness of the resurrected and glorified Christ) and then we will be able to pray for all saints in the Spirit (Eph6:18) with all supplication and will make us sober and powerful prayerfully.
Let’s graduate from fleshly prayer depending on our human instincts and step into our heavenly dimension of praying in the Spirit…as we continue to pray in the Holy Spirit (Jude1:20) and we pray in the Holy Spirit and not flesh , we will cause our holy faith to grow diametrically and exponentially.
Our faith grow mightily as we pray in the Holy Spirit and as the faith grows , then mighty exploits shall be the product of your prayer.
We are not clothed by flesh, we are now clothed with the power of Holy Spirit from on high, let this power drive and propel us to divine Spiritual dimensions!
This is the kind of prayer God ordained in His Church…. therefore loved ones let’s start doing the prayer business God’s way not religious way.
Let’s give the Spirit of God His place in our prayer lives. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to help us, to teach us , lead us, and empower us in the prayer.
Let the Spirit of grace and supplication begin to actively and mightily work in you and produce prayer in you.
