2.The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

3. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.

4. So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority (Gen39:2-4)

Divine accompaniment is key to uncommon success. God was with Joseph and this was the basis of his extraordinary success. God asked Moses to deliver the children of israel from Egypt and lead them to the promised land and He promised to be with Moses. God called Joshua to lead the children of israel into the promised land and He promised to be with Joshua as He had been with Moses.

Mordecai , Joseph , Nehemiah and Daniel lived in foreign nations and all worked in sensitive positions but they all had great success because they had one common denominator…”God was with them“! They left everything in Israel and they took with them one thing….The manifest presence of God.

Many Christians in our times have been taught to think that God is found and abides within the confines of the four walls of the church only, they think that they only relate with God in matters regarding church programs and heavenly things only. So many Christians enjoy God’s presence in the church setting only because they think things done inside the church building on a sunday morning are sacred but all things outside the church building are secular or worldly. Many Christian live from Monday to Saturday without the conscious abiding presence of God with them. This cause many Christians to walk in fear, failure, depression, etc.

God was with Joseph in Egypt and wherever he went. God is with you wherever we go. We don’t leave God in the Church building because God does not dwell in Church buildings as some think, but God lives in our hearts. (1Cor3:16)!

The conscious awareness of this truth will revolutionalize your life… Because God’s presence in you and with you will usher you into Uncommon success for God’s glory.

Amen.
