27.And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake.”
29.So Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me.
30.For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; the Lord has blessed you since my coming. And now, when shall I also provide for my own house?” (Gen30:27, 29-30)
Laban’s testimony was that God blessed him for Jacob’s sake. God blessed Laban since the day Jacob stepped into his House and business.
Remember Jacob had an encounter with God on his way to Laban’s house (Gen28:11-22). Jacob carried God’s presence into Laban’s house and this divine presence caused everything Jacob did to Prosper. The Bible says that the blessing of the Lord makes rich….
The greatest thing you can take to your workplace is God’s presence. God’s presence produces supernatural blessings and its the divine blessing that produces supernatural success.
Jacob wanted leave Laban’s house but Laban pleaded with him not to leave because he realized that his prosperity hinged on Jacob’s presence…. the man who had had a divine encounter with the almighty God.
Let’s purpose to be professionals who enjoy continuous divine encounters with God in our prayer life. The supernatural touch of God upon your life will make you unequalled in your field of work. The supernatural hand of God upon your life will make you an indispensable and a sought after commodity on the job market.
