Not By Flesh and Blood But
16.Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17.Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven .
18.And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Rev16:16-18)
It’s vital to understand How Christ is building His Church….it’s not by flesh and blood but by the Revelation from the Father through the Spirit. It’s by the active working of the Holy Spirit in and through the life of a believer!
You are not saved by flesh and blood but by the Holy Spirit (Tit3:4-7)
We are saved by faith in Christ Jesus, but this faith is not by flesh and blood but by the Holy Spirit (2Cor4:13).
This is the same Spirit of faith that causes us to live and walk in victory on a daily basis.
