There are different kinds of prayers in the Bible one of which relates to our enemies. When we are in need we ask (Mtt7:7-11), when we are worried with different issues of life we cast our care upon the Lord (1Pet5:7), but what do we do when our adversary the devil who roars like a lion and his demons mount assaults against our lives, families, businesses and ministries?

This story in our text between the widow , her adversary and the Judge serves to show us that when we are oppressed by the evilone we have the righteous judge who is our heavenly Father, and we should do what the widow did. The widow was oppressed by her adversary and she did not just shut herself in her house and cried. No, but she knew what to do.

She knew that its the work of the judge to bring her oppressor to books and judge him and punish him and the oppression would end and she would be free and all damages be paid. She knew it was her right to be free. Children of God, we need to know that satan and demons have no right to oppress us and if he does , we don’t need to keep on whining like a baby wondering what to do. We have a righteous judge in heaven. Let’s learn to come to God in prayer concerning our adversarIes and report every oppresson done against us and ask God to judge every enemy and every oppression.

When soldierS came to arrest Elijah, he said, ” if i be a man of God let fire come from heaven and consume you“. and fire came from heaven and devoured them all. Our God judge our enemies by fire. Fire is God’s weapon for judgng His enemies and our adversaries. When you see sicknesses, diseases, demonic attacks, attacks on your finances and job or business, attacks on your marriage and ministry, please cry to God for justice against your enemies. Don’t simply watch when satan is molesting your children and your loved ones, don’t languish in pain and demonic torture while we have a judge in heaven. “Vengeance is mine” says the Lord. Let God pour out His vengeance against all your enemies. Remember , our eneimes are not human beings but satan and his cohorts and his atrocities (Eph6:12). The Bible says that God will execute justice and will judge our eneimes properly if we cry to Him for it day and night.
