Perfection is never achieved through the flesh

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

2.This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3.Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?

5.Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Every believer world over knows that he/she is required to be sanctified , to be holy but many are ignorant about how sanctification is achieved. Ignorance cause many to try to achieve it by the flesh through legalism..

The journey of sanctified begins with the truth we are taught! The truth is one , that is, the death and resurrection of Christ! Any other things believers are taught other than the finished work of God through Christ and faith in that work for both salvation and perfection is witchcraft (Gal3:1)!

Wrong teaching produces wrong belief, and wrong belief produces wrong results.

Paul taught the Galatians the truth, but in his absence other preachers came and taught them other teachings contrary to Christ’s finished work…… “circumcision and keeping the law of Moses”! Meaning that the power of the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and the power of His resurrection and the Holy Spirit God supplies to every believer is not sufficient for our perfection therefore they need to add on the law of Moses….

When we fail to recognize power of the work God has done through the sacrifice of His Son, His raising Him from the dead , His sending the Holy Spirit to dwell in the believer , then we turn to the flesh to work out salvation by our human instincts …

The only thing the flesh is capable of is in Gal5:19, but Christ like life is only possible by the Spirit v22
